Dr. Mariano Palena
Dr. Mariano Palena is an Interventional Radiologist with a broad background in the treatment of CLTI, he currently works as consultant at Policlinico Abano Terme (PD), Italy & Hospital Quirónsalud Marbella, Spain. Dr. Mariano Palena education and work experience
He graduated in medicine and completed his postgraduate and specialization studies at the university of Bologna, Italy.
He has previously worked at Policlinico Abano Terme (PD), Italy, and from 2019 to 2022 he has been director of Endovascular Surgery Unit at GVM Maria Cecilia Hospital in Cotignola, Ravenna (Italy).
Dr. Palena research & teaching commitment
Dr. Palena has always been committed to medical research and education. He is actively engaged in advanced clinical research of the endovascular treatment of lower limb arterial disease and the treatment of diabetic foot. In particular, Dr. Palena focuses on the treatment of chronical arterial occlusions as well as of the femoral, tibial and foot arteries.
He is on the editorial board of several international medical journals and he is also the author of several articles, chapters and abstracts on advanced and cutting edge techniques for the revascularization of the vessels of legs and feet.
